I’m doing the long awaited walk around on the 2018 Toyota C-HR. This is the XLE premium model with the two tone, blue clips, white top. Come take a look at the front, very sharp design here. Under the hood there’s a brand new engine for Toyota, it’s a 2 liter Valvematic engine. What Valvematic means is it controls how much the valves open, so what that means is you guys will get better performance, better fuel economy, less emissions.
Now this is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense P, so you have your Radar Cruise Control, Automatic High Beams, Pre-Collision with Pedestrian, and your Lane Departure Assist.
Now these are your beautiful daytime running LEDs, when they’re all lit up there, looks really nice. Another thing with the Premium, you get these beautiful 18″ alloy rims, you get the power lamps, and the blind spot monitoring, and these are also power folding.
You also have keyless entry, so open it like that, lock it up like that. You have this beautiful [spoiler] here which tops up your dynamics. These very unique door handles, take a peek in there. You can fold the seats down as well. You have the backup camera back here, your cargo area.
I’m going to get my cameraman to jump inside, we’ll go through the interior features. Now in here, you have a 4.5″ display, right there in the center. Radio control’s there, your set of display controls there.
Another new thing for Toyota is the Electric Parking Brake, just pull up on that and it will lock the brake. Now this also has a brake hold, so if you’re at the lights, you press the brake hold button, and then hold your brake, and then when you’re ready to go you press your foot back on the brake, quick off hold, and you’re good to go.
Heated seats and dual climate zone’s standard on this beautiful display there. And there’s your controls for your Safety Sense P there.
